Don’t Call Me Strong: A Caregivers’ Retreat Workshop
Experience a transformative journey of self-discovery at our full-day intensive retreat designed for Black women impacted by early caregiving roles. Led by Montina Myers-Galloway, a licensed therapist with nearly 10 years of experience, this retreat offers powerful tools to overcome the mental health effects of parentification, manage compassion fatigue, and reclaim your authentic self. Set in a serene lakeside venue, participants will gain mindfulness skills, holistic healing practices, and strategies to prioritize their well-being. We are seeking referral partners who treat eating disorders, ADHD, substance abuse, severe mental disorders, and other issues. Myers-Galloway Counseling specializes in treating Black women who struggle with the negative mental health impact of parentification.
