The clinical supervision group provides a unique opportunity to learn from both a knowledgeable supervisor and your peers, enriching your professional development with diverse insights and experiences.

Being a new clinician is such an interesting time. You’re eager, excited, on pins and needles waiting for your license to be approved and you're ready to do your part to make an impact on the world. Then you are faced with the realities of how systems impact your clients and the work you do everyday.

I created The Cultural Insights Supervision Circle© as a safe space for clinicians to ask the tough questions, gain the confidence, and be seen by other professionals as they hold space for the trauma of their oppressed and marginalized clients. Having a place to do this as a Black therapist and a therapist of color is important to the development of your professional identity.

This experience was built with you in mind and includes opportunities to explore and learn a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Trauma Informed Care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, the Post Traumatic Growth concept, the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences, Motivational Interviewing, etc.
